Onion Ring Nachos

¾ pound Frozen breaded (not battered) onion rings (do not thaw)

1½ cups (about 6 ounces) Shredded Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Swiss cheese, or a purchased Tex-Mex

Up to 12 Pickled jalapeño rings


1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

2. When the machine is at temperature, spread the onion rings in the basket in a fairly even layer. Air-fry
undisturbed for 6 minutes, or until crisp. Remove the basket from the machine.

3. Cut a circle of parchment paper to line a 6-inch round cake pan for a small air fryer, a 7-inch round cake pan for a medium air fryer, or an 8-inch round cake pan for a large machine.

4. Pour the onion rings into a fairly even layer in the cake pan, then sprinkle the cheese evenly over them. Dot with the jalapeño rings.

5. Set the pan in the basket and air-fry undisturbed for 2 minutes, until the cheese has melted and is bubbling.

6. Remove the pan from the basket. Cool for 5 minutes before serving
